Visit the H+S booth at COMPDYN 2009 to see a demonstration of Micron Optics products.

The second international Computational Methods in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering will be held on the Islands of Rhodes at the Rodos Palace.

COMPDYN 2009 is one of the Thematic Conferences of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) and a Special Interest Conference of the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM). It has also been promoted by the European Committee on Computational Solids and Structural Mechanics (ECCSM) of ECCOMAS. This Conference is held simultaneously with the 2nd South-East European Conference on Computational Mechanics (SEECCM 2009) at the same venue.

30, October 2008 - Co-operation Agreement with Micron Optics

H+S Technology Solutions has signed an exclusive co-operation agreement with Micron Optics for distribution of MOI products in Greece. Micron Optics is perhaps the number one world’s distributor in Structural Health Monitoring, with a variety of products (optical sensors & interrogators), while it also has a powerful presence worldwide with a representatives’ network on all continents.

30, August 2008 - SHM Event

The company organized an event for the presentation of project “Structural Health Monitoring System of Buildings of Public Interest in Municipality of Hellinikon”, which took place at the exhibition center ‘Dreams’ in Glyfada, and turned out to be a great success.

During the event, a detailed presentation of the project as well as of the equipment in use took place. Representatives of the Local Authorities, Academics, as well as a large number of civilians, who showed an increased interest for the status and future of the project, honored the event with their presence. A reception with food, drinks and dancing followed the successful event.

April 2008 - Municipality Technical Department and System users training

According to the Project: '' Structural Health Monitoring Automated System of Critical Public Buildings in the Municipality of Hellinikon'' ad hoc technicians of our company educated the Municipality's Technical Department, as well as the users the in the use of the system and the parametrization of individual characteristics.

16, April 2008 - Optical Sensor installation at the Holy temple of Saint Konstantinos and Santa Helena in Glyfada

During the renovation of the Holy Temple 4 strain optical sensors were placed on the cupola, which at the past has suffered certain damage from earthquakes. The particular work aims in the structural health monitoring of the Holy Temple after strong earthquakes. The Temple was built in 1936.
